Air Release Valves Details
The Air Release Valves are fully automatic valves and require no regular maintenance. The purpose of “air Release Valves” is to release air that accumulates in a pipeline during its operation. As a system is being filled, the air is vented through the small orifice. Then the fluid enters the valve, the float rises and shuts off the orifice, preventing any leaks. Butterfly Valves Details
American Wheatley Butterfly Valves are designed for commercial and industrial application up to 225 PSI. We offer two styles Lug and Wafer with variations of the Lug style. 250lb Lug Style Butterfly Valves are EPDM Seat, Meets MSS-SP-67 & API 609 with a maximum temperature of 225 F operating temperature (250 F intermittent). The 250LB Lug is also available with a 10 position lever handle or gear operator. The Lug Style Butterfly Valve – Gear has a standard EPDM Seat, Meets MSS-SP-67 & API 609 with a maximum temperature of 200 F operating temperature (225 F intermittent). HVAC Check Valves Details
American Wheatley Wafer Style Non-Slam Check Valves are designed to automatically prevent back-flow in systems where it is desirable to permit flow in one direction and prevent flow in the opposite direction. When the pump starts and the downstream flow creates the required pressure drop in the forward direction, the disc will automatically open. When the pump stops and the flow ceases, the force of the spring will automatically close the disc prior to flow reversal. This creates a positive shutoff against flow reversal and minimizes system surges and water hammer.

Chilled Water Buffer Tank Details
Designed for chilled water systems with insufficient water volume capacity, in relation to the chiller capacity. Relatively low water volume systems require additional “buffer” capacity for the system to eliminate problems such as excessive chiller cycling, poor temperature control, and erratic system operation. The properly sized American Wheatley CBT tank adds the necessary volume to “buffer” the system. Chilled Water Buffer Tanks are not to be confused with our Hot Water Buffer Tanks. American Wheatley HS Series Hot water buffer tanks are designed to operate with modern high efficient low-mass modular boiler systems. The American Wheatley hot water buffer tank ensures minimal ΔT and provides the necessary thermal storage to prevent short-cycling that could occur during low load conditions.

Dual Control Valves Details
American Wheatley Dual Control Valves automatically maintain system pressure, also the Reducing Valves are equipped with a “fast-fill” lever that can be used to override automatic closing during purging. The Dual Control Valve consists of a Reducing Valve with an in-line pressure relief valve connected at its outlet end. Our Dual Control Valve is constructed from cast iron and can be adjusted for pressures between 10-25 psig. With a maximum operating pressure of 30 psig for the relief valve and 100 psig for the reducing valve, our Dual Control Valve is perfect for your next project or replacement.
